Man Utd, Man City leapfrogged as Arsenal take centre stage in pursuit of Leicester City midfielder

Arsenal are reportedly ahead of Manchester United and Manchester City in the race to sign a Leicester midfielder valued at £60million.

Mikel Arteta is hunting reinforcements in the centre of the park with two players potentially leaving this summer. Mohamed Elneny will become a free agent on June 30 and could leave for the Turkish Super Lig.

Besiktas and Galatasaray are both keen to sign the Egypt international, who has made just seven Premier League appearances this season.

“Of course, I want to play in the Champions League, just like any footballer. Am I ready for a European top club? I’m ready to get the best out of my career.

“We’ll see what happens next summer, or the summer after that.”

Reports earlier this year state Leicester value Tielemans at £60million. But with his…
