Juventus have one last chance to win a piece of silverware this season but the club is reportedly unhappy with results under Massimiliano Allegri, who is increasingly under pressure.
The Italian tactician returned to the club, signing a four-year deal worth €7m per season plus add-ons last summer. He had won 11 trophies in his first spell at the club between 2014 and 2019, but this season’s results have been far less impressive.
The Bianconeri were eliminated from the Champions League Round of 16 by Villarreal and have never been involved in the title race in Serie A. They have one last chance to lift a trophy this season but must get the better of Fiorentina in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semis.

They have a slight edge, having won the reverse fixture in Florence 1-0 last month. Allegri won at least two trophies per season during his first spell at the Allianz Stadium and Juventus’ last trophyless season was in 2010-11 under Luigi Delneri.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are unhappy with this season’s results and the development of players hasn’t been entirely convincing as well. However, Allegri’s future is not in doubt and Andrea Agnelli is not considering sacking the 54-year-old who, however, must win a trophy to avoid further disappointment.
The former Milan coach is under pressure also following two tweets from Lapo Elkann, who openly criticised him after Saturday’s draw against Bologna.
Agnelli’s cousin first said that Juventus didn’t have much to be happy about, mentioning Allegri with a wordplay, and then added that ‘men pass, but Juventus remain.’
“Lapo non conta niente”
Da ieri alcuni giornalisti&friends(?) (pochi) si affrettano a ripeterlo. Vi vedo un po’ nervosi. Non perdete tempo con chi non conta nulla 😚😬.
Buona Pasqua e forza…
