Stan Collymore believes Harry Kane showed ‘disrespect’ to Tottenham with his display against Manchester City and will probably miss out on a big-money move.
Kane, 28, was back to his best as Spurs beat City 3-2 on Saturday in a thrilling contest at the Etihad. Having lost three consecutive top-flight games, the north Londoners were not expected to cause the champions too much trouble. But Kane’s superb pass set the ball in motion for the first goal early in the match.
And he bagged his first and Spurs second just before the hour mark after Ilkay Gundogan had equalised. In a frantic finish, it seemed as though the Citizens had earned a point when Riyad Mahrez tucked away a penalty.

And former Liverpool striker Collymore feels it is remiss of the hitman to pick and choose when he turns it on.
“It was an exceptional all-round strike performance,” he wrote in The Mirror. “But where has it been all season? Is it grossly unfair on Tottenham and their fans who pay his wages that they don’t see it more.
“How can you be world-class one week, and then be just ok, within yourself, for the previous 20 games?”

However, the clubs could not agree on a fee and he remained at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. He may well look for a new club at the end of the season.
But Collymore feels Pep Guardiola may now look at a younger forward for his next big-money addition.
“Harry has got two years of being able to score top numbers. He is not the physical presence that Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Cristiano Ronaldo are,” he added.
“But I do wonder if he has missed the boat on a big move. If City…
