Concussions at Bayern - the fans will be horrified

This doesn’t look like a champion.

Multiple German champion Bayern Munich has been rocked by a major scandal after several former and current club leaders are suspected of salary cap fraud at the youth training centre, according to the WDR channel.

According to the channel, Oliver Khan, Hasan Salihamidzic and two other lesser-known officials will not come out innocent of the former club director Karl-Heinz Roumenige, who is accused of tacitly approving these illegal acts.

Bayern bosses are accused of illegally withholding salaries, inaccurately keeping records by the hour, but also misconveying the minimum wage. They are accused of misreporting employee social security.

The problem is that employees are not even paid overtime, and it says part of the salary paid in cash, thus avoiding the tax liability that the munich great must pay to the state.

Bayern finished the calendar year at the top of the table, but obviously things off the pitch are not working out as they should.

Mind you, last month Juventus were also accused of financial fraud, but at least in public this story has gone quiet.
